Areas of Practice Competition Law and Trade Practices Law

Members of the firm are knowledgeable about the issues, policies and law related to the restriction of competition in the marketplace. Such matters include abuse of dominance, pricing issues such as predatory pricing, price maintenance and promotional allowances and consumer concerns such as contests, promotions, fair disclosure, misleading advertising and the like. We have experience at all levels of the Competition Act process from complaint, through investigation to prosecution. Most importantly, however, the main body of our practice in this area focuses on prevention and compliance, including the creation and implementation of compliance manuals and procedures.
